Ashlee LaPine has been a private singing teacher for over 13 years. She has taught and performed all over the world, stretching even as far as Brisbane, Australia, where she assisted with pioneer research in vocal development and production for jazz, classical, pop, country and musical theater singers.
She received a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Missouri/Kansas City, where she also taught voice and speech. She has taught musical theater and singing at the world-renowned drama school Perry Mansfield, whose students have gone on to Broadway and national tours, and include winners of both Academy and Golden Globe Awards. She has also taught pop music and musical theater for The Coterie Theater (named “One of the five best theatres for young audiences in the US” by Time Magazine).
Ashlee is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, Actors Equity, National Association of Teachers of Singing, and Voice and Speech Trainers Association. She is a wonderful instructor, whose students have gone on to highly successful careers across the globe and have been accepted to highly-acclaimed theater and music schools. She teaches all styles of acting and singing.
In early 2013, Valerie Morehouse brought Ashlee LaPine on board as her Associate Teacher at Morehouse Vocal Studio. Valerie and Ashlee share the same passion for Vocal Health for Life, and Ashlee is enjoying using her experience and training from Valerie to help clients recover from nodules and other voice issues, and to ensure healthy voices stay healthy.
